I'm a writer. Can't help it. Words come to me, I look at the world through a lens of understanding. I truly attempt to see the glass half full. Maybe I'm a optimist to a fault. I make music, I read everything, the blogs, the newspaper, magazines, you name it. Beeware, Brian S. Bridges Jr., is a information junkie. I just need to know.
What I have seen this year is a change. A change in the way humanity functions, it's as if a rage has taken over. THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT BLACK LIFE. All people are no longer patient with one another, short fuses are the norm, tempers are the norm. A smile is hard to find. "All I know is all I see", this is my motto. This is so simple, if everyday you sit at a screen to talk it out, text to converse, comment to vent, maybe you are diluting your social skills. Being social, requires a society to exist in and out of. The robot, or should I say the "Matrix", is not a society. If all electricity retires, people will still be present. You will still be present. When I say i love you, I would rather see your eyes light up, than receive a me too, smiley face.

2011 Winter Storm.
I just went outside, to look at the storm work. It was as if Nature felt like clearing space. Once I awoke from my sleep, over 21 inches of snow had fallen in Chicago. For days, most of the city was paralyzed. My camera work is burnt on this take. Ima get my Spike Lee on one day. Memories.
